David Duchovny, the actor who once played a sex-obsessed character of Californication, is rehabbing for sex addiction in real life, reported People.com.
David Duchovny picture. The X-Files actor is now rehabbing for sex addiction. “I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.” David Duchovny said in a statement released by lawyer Stanton Stein to the mag. Flo Grace, Duchovny’s rep also confirmed his client’s rehabilitation, but declined to comment any further, AP noted. It was not known what treatment David Duchovny is receiving and where his rehab facility is.

David Duchovny, 48, who starred in this summer’s X-Files movie, has been married to actress Tea Leoni since 1997. The couple have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd Miller, 6.
