Ellen DeGeneres Portia de Rossi Marriage Might Be Anulled! The marriage of comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, 50 and partner, actress Portia de Rossi, 35,  who married in Los Angeles this August is threatened. Because the passage of California Proposition 8 Polls today may soon eliminate their rights as a married gay couple. Attorney Mathew D. Staver – who has argued before the California Supreme Court against same-sex marriage – was confident California’s 18,000-plus gay marriages would be annulled, according to People.
