The height of Rahn Emanuel who was picked as Chief of Staff days ago became a hot search topic yesterday right after he appeared on President-elect Barack Obama’s press conference, because a diminutive Rahm was seen about one head shorter (pic above, via) than Obama who stands about 6ft 1in.
Update: HCG reader Maggie who is 4′11″ says Rahm Emanuel height is about 5′7″ tall.

you guys are lame. The photo is an optical illusion because Obama –6′2\ — is standing closer to the camera while the guy directly behind Emanuel, Paul Volker, is extremely tall — 6′7\ — making Rahm seem smaller than he really is. One of you should have known Volker’s height. stop being lazy. Use the friggin Internet!
If Obama is a head taller, Emanuel is at least 8-10 inches shorter. I think he could easily be in the range of 5′3-5′5. He does NOT appear 5′7.
It is known from medical records that Rahm Emanuel is 4′10″ tall.

We thought your answer that Mr. Rahm Emanuel height is around 5′7″ is much more accurate than the one (4′11″) the guy answered in Yahoo! Answers. After all, Rahm looked not like as short as 150cm (roughly 5ft)
Rahm Emanuel is about 5′7″ tall. He may seem short to others but he is tall to me (I am 4′11″).
