Michael Jackson reportedly chose his new name Mikaeel, which is the name of one of Allah’s angels, after abandoning another Muslim name, Mustafa, which means “the chosen one.” Yousef Islam [Wikipedia], the 60-year-old British singer whose original name called Cat Stevens before converted, was present at Mikaeel Jackson’s muslim converting ceremony.

Michael Jackson is my favorite pop artist ever since i was a child. He is truly the King of Pop and i am saddened by this news.
What he did in the past before Islam is not considered by Allah. At least he found peace before he meet his maker, and this God is not a human god killed by his own puny creation in order to free them from sins made by someone else – Adam and Eve. Well that’s logic for you. You might not like young marriages but read the gospel, or the bible or ask your wise one. Young bride is acceptable during the ancient times. Marriage is a holy matrimony not stupid free sex or same sex marriage or all the madness related to your sex lives practiced in the name of freedom. How about your church scandals of sodomizing boys by members of the high order of the church like what happened in the USA. Have you forgotten about it. It happened in this century, not hundred of years ago and it is not accepted then, and I don’t think it is accepted now since the churches had to paid millions in compensation to the boys (now men of course.)
It is sad for losing this great man without having the chance of hearing his explanation of why he converted to Islam. It is sadder to read what some of you think that he was lead by Satan to Islam. I dare you to read about Islam or the holy book, the Koran and compare it with your faith if you think you are in righteousness. Read your history and compare it to Islam history. Yes, Islam history is tainted with some greed of its followers and some even strayed from the truth path of Islam but compare it with mass murders and destruction caused by the Christians and others to the human race, for example the mass murders of the Jews by christian Germans, annihilation of the Khmer people in the hands of the Communists and etc.Give me an example of such madness in Islam history. I dare you to look for the truth. The truth is in vogue. Look for it if you dare.
