Katrina Darrell successfully passed the first round and won a ticket to compete in Hollywood. But apparently, it’s not her rendition of Mariah Carey’s Vision of Love, but her nearly nude body impressed many including judges Kara DioGuardi and Paula Abdul.

Katrina Darrell, now dubbed American Idol Bikini Girl, performed her audition wearing almost nothing but her pink bikini and black high heels! “I came dressed in my bathing suit to American idol because, first of all, I figured it would set me apart from the crowd, and secondly because I heard it was a crazy audition process and I figured, well, at least I’ll have a tan.” Darrell told host Ryan Seacrest when he asked why she wore such revealing outfit.
