It sounds someone wants to make money off from Oprah Winfrey. That man is Randolph Cook, a 51-year-old Chicago businessman now battling esophageal cancer. This ex boyfriend of Oprah Winfrey, said the Queen of Talk Show did crack cocaine back in 1984 when the two had love affairs. In his “tell-all” book, The Wizard of O: My Life With Oprah, Randolph Cook also claimed Oprah Winfrey taught him to freebase on cocaine. Ouch!
Update: Randolph Cook’s Oprah Cocaine claim was not new but too old. And he was even fighting on Youtube for his cause–to publish the afore-mentioned book since 2007:
The Wizard of O, My Life with Oprah – the L. Randolph Cook Interviews (www.thewizardofo.com) is a non-fictional account of the steamy relationship between Oprah Winfrey and L. Randolph Cook, a former love interest and close confidant of the world’s most influential media personality. In a series of interviews, the author reveals explosive details of sex, drugs and never heard behind the scenes revelations about his relationship with Oprah and the pain of drug addiction as a direct result of that relationship. The readers of his book will gain insight and knowledge as to why this book was too hot to handle by book publishers and literary agents, despite expressed interest by the industry giants. Book publishers and literary agents continue to fear her influence and remain afraid of losing favor in the eyesight of the media icon, by publishing this truly remarkable memoir.
