Meet Kamani Hubbard, a California baby boy was born with 24 fingers and toes which fully function! As seen pictures here, baby Kamani Hubbard has six perfectly formed fingers and toes on his hands and feet. Being born with additional digits – or being a polydactyl – is not so uncommon, but it is really unusual to see Kamani blessed by God who gives him 4 extra well-developed ones.
From Daly City of California, Kamani Hubbard was born to mom Miryoki Gross and daddy Kris Hubbarb, a postal worker who himself is also a polydactyl (having 12 fingers but no extra toes), at San Francisco’s Saint Luke’s Hospital recently.
“It’s merely an interesting and beautiful variation rather than a worrisome thing. I would be tempted to leave those fingers in place. I realize children would tease each other over the slightest things, and having extra digits on each hand is more than slight. But imagine what sort of a pianist a 12-fingered person would be. Imagine what sort of a flamenco guitarist. If nothing else, think of their typing skills.” said Dr. Michael Treece, a pediatrician at Saint Luke’s Hospital when speaking of baby Kamani Hubbard’s polydactylism case.
