ABC’s 2009 Dancing With The Stars Season 8 which premieres on March 9 has announced its line-up. The DWTS 8 full 13 cast members are Belinda Carlisle (singer in The Go-Go’s), David Alan Grier (actor and comedian), Jewel (singer), Shawn Johnson (gold medalist), Lil’ Kim (Grammy Award winning rapper), Gilles Marini (actor), Ty Murray (rodeo athlete), Steve-O (Jackass star), Nancy O’Dell (Access Hollywood correspondent), Denise Richards (actress), Lawrence Taylor (Former NFL star), Chuck Wicks (country singer) and Steve Wozniak (Apple Inc. co-founder). Among them, Jewel and Ty Murray are a couple, but they are going to compete against each other; Shawn Johnson, 2008 Beijing Olympic gymnast, is 17, the youngest; Chuck Wicks is to pair with his girlfriend, DWTS pro Julianne Hough.

As of the time this post was written up, it was learned that Ukrainian professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy was to team with Denise Richards. Besides two pros (Maksim and Julianne) mentioned above, Chmerkovskiy’s fiancee Karina Smirnoff, Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke, Chelsie Hightower and Lacey Schwimmer, will also appear on DWTS 8. The pairings will be announced on on Thursday, February 12.
Dancing With The Stars Season 8 will continue to be hosted by Tom Bergeron as well as Samantha Harris. Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba will still be judges this season. (Source: Wikipedia)
