Singer Jewel and Access Hollywood reporter Nancy O’Dell have quitted to contest on Dancing With the Stars Season 8, due to the feet injuries sustained from the rehearsals, Ew.com is reporting. Jewel suffered tibia fractures in both of her legs, while O’Dell’s torn meniscus will require knee surgery. DWTS 8 casting changes will not be announced until the reality tv show’s March 9 premiere on ABC. It was said The Girl Next Door star Holly Madison (photo above), would replace Jewel, but it’s not clear who replaces Nancy O’Dell, Misty May-Treanor?
Update: O’Dell should be replaced by Melissa Rycroft, who was recently proposed by Jason Mesnick on the finale of The Bachelor but dumped soon after.
