Nazri Aziz Pictures Scandal? Is Malaysia to hit by a new pictures scandal involving a prominent politician called Nazri Aziz (fulll name Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz)?
Today March 11, 2009, Gutteruncensored.com published pictures showing what it said was Nazri Aziz, a Minister in Malaysian Prime Minister’s Department in charge of parliamentary affairs, “in a compromising position with a young woman that may or may not be his wife”.
Nazri Aziz or just Nazri Aziz Looklike?
After checking them, we sensed a skinhead-haired man did bear the striking resemblance to Nazri Aziz but could not be certain that he was Nazri Aziz indeed.
Weeks ago, Malaysia was rocked by its opposition party Parti Keadiian Rakyat assemblywoman Elizabeth Wong Keat Ping’s “racy” photos that were photographed without her permission by her former boyfriend. At the time Nazri Aziz offered his support for Elizabeth Wong, he said
I sympathise with the executive councillor, this thing should have not happened as she the people’s representative and she had been performing her duties.
Therefore, to foil what she has done for the community in this manner is not good. But I hope her spirits (remain strong) and she will not bother about what has happened.
If the allegation of the aforem-mentioned website turned out true, it is almost sure that Malaysia’s politics would embrace another drama in such a short time, we’ll wait and see.
Update (March 14, 2009): According to Malaysia’s most spread English daily The Star, Nazri Aziz-looklike man with the woman in the picture is ‘not Nazri Aziz.’ Real Nazri Aziz declined to comment, that means, he neither confessed nor denied that man was himself, but “people familiar with the politician said it was not him.”
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: A photograph, posted on gutteruncensored.com showing a man with a woman in a compromising position, is not that of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz as claimed by the foreign blog.
One of the other photographs is, however, that of Nazri, who is shown sitting on a couch at Parliament lobby.
The owner of the blog claimed that the photographs were sent by a contributor several months ago.
Nazri declined to comment when contacted but people familiar with the politician said it was not him.
