Marie Douglas-David, 36, is the soon-to-be ex-wife of George David, billionaire and former CEO of United Technologies. Marie Douglas is now divorcing a 67-year-old George, husband of six years. A post-nuptial agreement in 2005 stipulates Marie Douglas-David can receive $43 million from George David when the pair divorces. But Marie Douglas said that amount of money was not enough to maintain her $53,000-per-week living expenses. Once an out-of-court settlement couldn’t reached, Douglas filed the papers to the Hartford Family Court in Connecticut to ask more out of George’s estimated $329 million wealth. Will she succeed? We’ll wait and see, the divorce trial has started today Wednesday March 18, 2009.
