Married country singer/actress LeAnn Rimes was caught on cheating husband Dean Sheremet! Us Weekly exposed LeAnn Rimes having affairs with her TV co-star Eddie Cibrian, a married father with two children.

LeAnn Rimes is having a shocking affair with her TV movie costar, Eddie Cibrian, Us Weekly reveals in its newest issue, on stands Wednesday.

Rimes, 26 — currently wed to former backup dancer Dean Sheremet — got cozy with Cibrian, 35, on the set of her March 21 Lifetime flick, Northern Lights. Cibrian was recently seen in Ugly Betty, Invasion and Samantha Who?

“From the moment we rehearsed, LeAnn and Eddie honestly developed a really strong bond and a warm relationship,” director Mike Robe told Us prior to news of the affair.

Their rapport carried off the set as well.

The new Us Weekly features pictures taken from a video security camera that show the two holding hands and kissing on a romantic dinner date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California on March 7. Additionally, Us Weekly reports that the new couple met for a three-hour tryst at the Malibu Beach Inn on March 14.

Rimes married Sheremet seven years ago — when she was just 19 and he was 21. Cibrian tied the knot with model Brandi Glanville in 2001; they have two sons, ages 5 and 23 months.

While the publist did not comment Rimes’ private life, the What I Cannot Change singer admitted “a difficult time” for her and appealed to fans for support on her website:

“This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support. I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white. Have Faith, Le.”

It seemed Rimes’s husband Dean Sheremet wasn’t bothered by her wife’s alleged affairs with another man, he claimed “I Love My Wife” on his Twitter page.

…Us Weekly reported that LeAnn Rimes was having a secret affair with her “Northern Lights” costar Eddie Cibrian. Well, sources tell PopWrap that this is all hogwash!

Eddie has been leaning on friends for support all morning after the story broke, according to a close friend. Eddie is dismissing the rumors, telling him “LeAnn and I are friends, we went to dinner, that’s it. The most ridiculous thing is that people believe I would do something like this period … much less do it in a public place. The false accusations are obviously causing a rift at home, but me and my family will get through this together.”

Update (July/2009): The eight year old marriage between Eddie Cibrian and wife Brandi Glanville is nearing the end. Ms. Glanville determined to split from Cibrian because she is tired of his relationship with LeAnn Rimes.

“Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart,” Glanville told to Us Weekly. “I want to do what is best for our children [Mason Edward, 6, & Jake Austin, 2]. Eddie and LeAnn [Rimes] deserve each other.”

At the same time, the marriage of LeAnn Rimes and husband Dean Sheremet also hit the rocks. They have separated according to a friend of the country singer.

“Le and Dean have been separated for quite some time now, but they’re continuing to try and work through their relationship,” a Rimes pal spoke to People.
