Singer M.I.A.‘s newly born son has been named! M.I.A baby is called Ikhyd Edgar Arular Brofman, according to the birth certificate issued from Department of Health Services and Registrar of Los Angeles County obtained by TMZ,

Sri Lankan-British rapper M.I.A and boyfriend Benjamin Bronfman welcomed their first child together on in Los Angeles February 11, three days after the heavy pregnant singer who was then on due date performed at 2008 Grammys Awards. Latina first broke out that M.I.A.’s bon was named Ickitt. M.I.A, 34, orignial name Mathangi Arulpragasam, denied its claim, writing “MY BABY IS NOT CALLED ICKITT, PICKIT OR LICKIT…” on her MySpace blog. Ironically, now being Ikhyd, is somewhat very close to be Ickitt.
