American Idol Top 8’s Year They Were Born Wish List night on April 7 was definitely Adam Lambert Mad World night! After the hopeful American Idol 8 winner Adam Lambert who was the last contestant yesterday finished his rendition of Mad World, a hit in 1982 by British band Tears for Fears, judge Simon Cowell commented, “I think words are unnecessary, but I want to give you a standing ovation.” Cowell indeed did so, a move that was never seen before.
