Jamie Waylett, Harry Potter films star, was arrested over drug charges. On April 2, Jamie Waylett, 19, was first arrested and then released after police found eight bags of suspected cannabis in the Audi car he and a friend, drove erratically in Westminster, central London.
Waylett was again arrested the same day on suspicion of producing a class B drug when police discovered ten mature cannabis plants valued at thousands of US dollars during a night raid at his home.
It was alleged Jamie Waylet growed the plants under powerful hydroponic lights beside his DJ decks and a PlayStation.
A London Metropolitan Police spokesman said Waylett and his friend were bailed to a date in July pending further inquiries and tests on the substances.
This is the second time Jamie Waylett hit the news headlines for drug charge. In October 2006, Waylett, then aged 17, was pictured by a British tabloid snorting cocaine.

Together with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), he appeared in all six of the wizard flicks (Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince which is due for release July 17, 2009.
