It sounds Spike Jonze, director of acclaimed films such as Being John Malkovich (1999) and Adaptation (2009) will soon be the husband of actress Michelle Williams, ex girlfriend of late actor, Brokenback Mountain star Heath Ledger. According to a tabloid report, Spike Jonze, 40, and Michelle Williams, 28, are going to marry within the year.
“They’re in love and absolutely thrilled with each other. They don’t see why they should wait much longer.” A source told to Star magazine.

According to a post on Just Jared last August, Spike Jonze, and Michelle Williams met when she auditioned for Where the Wild Things Are, which he directed. In October, Spike and Michelle publicly came out as a couple. Since then Jonze also developed a bold relationship with the young daughter of Williams and Heah Ledger, Matilda Rose Ledger.
“Spike loves being with Matilda,” add the spy. “He’s teaching her to skateboard and to ride a bike.
“He never makes Michelle feel like taking care of her is a burden, because he truly thinks of them all as a family.”
Should the Star’s remor come true, it would be the second marriage for Spike. He previously married to director Sofia Coppola, in 1999, but got divorced in 2003. They had no children.

I think Michelle and Spike are really well suited and at least they are taking their time to get to know eachother before making any kind of committment, let alone having a baby. If only she had done that with Heath. I think he would have respected her more for it, you know, for not going the ‘accidental pregnancy’ route which she allegedly took to try to ‘trap’ him. And that was a guy who clearly said that he wasn’t ready for marriage and wouldn’t be until he was in his thirties. Silly girl. No wonder it ended in heartbreak for her. Hopefully there will be wedding bells this time and Spike and Michelle live happily ever after and give Matilda a few cute siblings to play with.
