Susan Boyle’s Britain’s Got Talent I Dreamed a Dream performance video is causing a nightmare for a Scottish girl now dubbed 1:24 Girl.
The teenager who was seen reacting awkward toward Susan Boyle when she replied she tried to be a professional singer after Simon Cowell asked what’s her dream has become a target of a worldwide web abuse campaign, Dailyrecord is reporting.

Simon Cowell reacted more weird than 1:24 Girl on Susan Boyle BGT audition, he said a sorry according to an onlinr report. (Youtube.com/BritainsSoTalented)
The teenager owned the moniker 1:24 Girl because she appeared at 1’24″ mark in Susan Boyle I Dreamed a Dream Youtube video.
Susan, the 48-years-old singing sensation called on her fans not to take part in the hate campaign.
“Leave the poor girl alone.” Boyle said.
“She had the same reaction as the judges and everyone else in the theatre – she does not deserve to be singled out.” she added.

Myself and most people I associate with did not react with rolling eyes and a look of utter disgust when we saw Susan come to the stage. So I think it’s safe to say that Susan’s perspective that “She had the same reaction as the judges and everyone else in the theatre” is pretty over-the-top. This girl was singled out because she was dim-witted enough to sign a release allowing her to be filmed, and then forgot to conduct herself in a manner that was appropriate for a decent human being. She was caught on camera. Tough break.
Though it’s quite unnecessary to torture the poor child with hate mail, it should serve as a lesson to any that are simple-minded enough to treat others poorly – Karma will get you in the end.
And for those posting comments saying they too reacted the same as “1:24 girl,” you too should be ashamed. You are NOT in the majority. This is not a story about “judging a book by it’s cover.” It’s a story about simple decency. And clearly, there are some who still have much to learn in that area.
i agree that she’s doesn’t deserved to be rediculed for the way she acted. She was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
How dare anyone send hate mail to that girl and worse yet how dare anyone single her out. last time I checked, everybody’s reaction including mine were pretty much unanimous before she started to sing with that wonderful voice so what I say is how dare anyone pick on her when we pretty much all including the judges had the same snap (cynical) judgment! I’m personally shocked that there could be such an outrage over something that showed up for literally 2 seconds. Don’t people have anything better to be doing with their lives!
It’s just plain cruel if you ask me. What are you gonna do now? send me hate mail because my reaction was the same before she started singing.
BUT
I do love Susan Boyle!
Janni, sorry, if any offenses caused. We deleted the second picture which shows much more detailed facial expression of 1:24 Girl. Her first picture was also seen on another site.
Why did you post the girl’s picture here?! Sure she was behaving badly, but then again, so were lots of other people, even adults. I’m sure she has learned her lesson by now.
By posting her picture separated from the video, you are acting against Susan Boyle’s wishes, did you ever think of that? Or was it more important to just get an interesting story published?
Part of me just wants to do that to her too, cause it makes me mad when people just make fun of other people for no reason at all or for just the damn outside appearances…. but if Susan says no then its no.
I saw a LOT of people in the audience that reacted the same way.
Why the hell nag this girl? I was suspicious too.
i’d do susan
