Woo Seung-yeon Suicide, Depression Blamed for The Cause

Woo Seung-yeon, a young South Korea starlet, committed suicide, according to the reports. Woo Seung-yeon, 우승연 in Korean language, was found dead at her home in southern Seoul Seung-yeong reportedly hanged herself in her house’s closet. Woo’s live-in friend discovered her body and reported to the police. Her agency said the 26-year-old actress took her own life at about 7:40pm April 27.
The depression was blamed for the Woo Seung-yeon’s death cause. According to Korean Times, Woo’s family members and friends revealed the police investigators that she has been under severe stress after recently failing to pass auditions for new roles.
A suicide note alleged left by Woo read “I love my family. I’m so sorry to leave early.”

Woo Seung-yeon first found her fame as an internet sensation. She then became a model before finding the supporting roles in the movie Herb and the sitcom Yap. She co-stared with actor Hwang Jung-min in the latest film Private Eye which currently screens in South Korea.
