At 15 years old Jasmine Villegas doesn’t look like a diva. But that changes as soon as the girl who stands 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 90 pounds – grabs a microphone and unleashes a voice that could rival the greats. The San Jose native has been wowing crowds across the country as she prepares for a promising career that’s ahead of her. Now based in Los Angeles at the heart of the music scene, Jasmine’s defined sound has been compared to such celebrated songstresses as Alicia Keyes and Whitney Houston.
Having never taken a voice lesson, Jasmine’s natural vocal flair will only blossom as she continues to perfect her craft. Jasmine, who has been home-schooled since the third grade is also the focus of a television show. It’s still in the development phase, but those around her – some of whom call her “an angel with an old soul” –see the girl’s charisma taking her to places others haven’t seen.

Jasmine began touring at the age of eleven and has done over 200 shows in the last 18 months. She has performed for educational school assembly programs across the country. At such a young age, Jasmine is an extremely seasoned performer. She has also worked with LA’s Best, a non-profit after school program to perform at 100 elementary schools in the Los Angeles Area. She also works closely with other children’s non-profit organizations such as Big Brother Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club of America, Special Olympics, and Aspira Foster Care.
Her youthful ambition and undeniable talent have taken Jasmine into other creative arenas. She has been featured in print advertisements for Target National, Mary Kate and Ashley, American Girl, Levi’s, Hilary Duff, Robinsons May, Macys, Mervyns, Girl Scouts, Sparklets Drinking Water, Kohls as well as principal roles in television commercials for Chevrolet, The Dog, Kellogs, Zellers, Marshalls, and McDonald’s. Jasmine has also made guest starring appearances on Disney’s “That’s So Raven,” Touchstone Pictures’ “My Wife and Kids” starring Damon Wayans, and she has also gone on to become Ms. Hawaiian Tropic and Ms. Royal Essence.
