It has been long time since people want to know who is the wife of Wanda Sykes? The question now is answered. Wanda Sykes wife is called Alex! More than that, Alex Sykes has given birth to the couple’s first children together, a pair of boy and girl twins, thanks to the weekly People’s report.
Wanda Sykes twins were born on April 27, 2009. Baby girl Olivia Lou weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and measured 19 inches long, while her brother Lucas Claude was 7 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches long.
“All are happy and healthy and at home,” Sykes’s publicist Danica Smith was quoted on People.

Wanda Sykes, married with Alex in California on October 25, days before the state’s same-sex marriage ban amendment Proposition 8 was passed on November 4. Wanda announced her marriage news and said she was “proud to be gay” when speaking against the passage of Proposition 8 at a rally hosted by the LGBT Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, November 15, 2008. At the time she did not reveal Alex’s name.
The 44-year-old comedian/actress is best known for her work on TV’s The Chris Rock Show and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Her movie credits include Monster-in-Law, My Super Ex-Girlfriend and Over the Hedge.
Update: When appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC on May 27, Wanda Sykes debuted the picture of her newly-born twins:

Among the other things Wanda disclosed to Jay Leno included Alex’s delivery process, parenting, and twins’ tag-teaming.
“There’s no such thing as a smooth delivery. It’s a lot of mop-up…a lot of cleaning up going on after that.”
“Babies are very inconsiderate! Everyone said twins should be here at 35 weeks but nothing! Lots of waiting and they finally induced at week 39. I was [in the delivery room] when they did the C-Section. When the doctors tell you “Don’t look this way,” don’t look that way. It was not pretty

Ms. Sykes portrays herself as a lesbian, not bi-sexual. She was married to a man for several years. Did she deceive him in that she was gay? The religous right claims that homosexuality is a choice, not something you’re born as. If she new she was a lesbian before and during her first marriage, did she all of a sudden become one. Maybe someone that is a lesbian and has been married to the oppisate sex can answer; if all of a sudden one can have a change in sexuality?
