Former NFL great Bruce Smith was arrested for driving under influence last night in Virginia Beach, Virginia, AP reported. He was freed after posting a bond.

According to the police, Bruce Smith was busted at 1:42 a.m. Friday on Interstate 264. Smith was charged with speeding, driving under the influence and refusal to take an alcohol breath test.
This was the third time Smith was arrested for DUI. Smith’s first DUI arrest came as early as in 1997 and the charge was dismissed. He was arrested again in 2003 and was acquitted.
Bruce Smith, 45, who played for the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Redskins, holds the record for most career quarterback sacks with 200 after surpassing Reggie White’s record of 198.5. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on January 31, 2009,
