Aubrey Louis Berry is Aubrey Berry! HCG just learned Aubrey Berry’s middle name is Louis. Aubrey Louis Berry, 23, is from Georgia. Berry is an African-American man. He was charged for murder in connection with the case of Atlanta rapper Dolla shooting death on May 18 at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Aubrey Berry is currently locked up in Los Angeles County Jail and his bail was set at $1 million.
On Monday afternoon, Atlanta rapper Dolla, whose original name was Roderick Anthony Burton II, and fellow rapper DJ Shabbazz did some shopping at the upscale Beverly Center in West Hollywood. An altercation broke out with two other people-it was said one male and one female- when they were waiting at the valet area of the shopping mall after shopping. Soon, Dolla’s opposites shot him in the head and fled in a silver Mercedes SUV. Before the tragedy, the two suspects were reportedly trailing the rapper. Some reports said the gunmen may know Dolla. It was not clear if they were the passengers who had arguments with Dolla on an earlier flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles.
Dolla died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Aubrey Louis Berry who fit the description of the man in the suspicious Mercedes SUV was arrested inside Terminal 1 at LAX when trying to board a flight. It was believed Aubrey arrived at LAX by taking a rental car not that Mercedes.
“As the officers approached the suspect, they asked him ‘Do you know why we’re here?’” airport police spokesman Sgt. Jim Holcomb told AP. “He put his (hands) up in the air and said, ‘Yes, I’ve got a gun in my waistband. Don’t shoot me.’”

Aubrey Louis Berry, a music promoter, reportedly admitted that he shot rapper Dolla after ‘feeling threatened’.
Reports said Aubrey Berry involved an argument happened the Platinum 21 Adult Entertainment club in Atlanta last week. He happened to run across Dolla and his friends at the Beverly Center.

Aubrey Louis Berry was charged a single felony count of murder and two counts of assault with a firearm for the death of Dolla as well as for allegedly shooting at two other people during that time.
Bail for Aubrey Louis Berry has been set from $1.1 million dollars to $5 million. If convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole.
Berry was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, May 22, 2009.
