Janice Thibodeaux, a woman at the age of 33, allegedly attacked Terri Seymour, Simon Cowell’s ex girlfriend after the American Idol 8 Season finale performance of Adam Lambert and Kris Allen at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last night, TMZ reported.
Janice Thibodeaux who was said to be around 200 pounds allegedly attempted to choke Teri Seymour after asking if she was Cowell’s girlfriend in the complex where the Nokia Theatre situated.
Janice Thibodeaux was arrested on felony battery charges and is being held on a $52,700 bail.
Teri Seymour, who works as a reporter for LA FOX 11, refused medical treatment and was escorted out by three security officers to the pick-up sedan.
Later, TMZ spoke with Thibodeaux’s brother and sister. The website was told Janice was “not crazy” and the attack was “way out of character” for her.
It’s unclear what’s the motive of Thibodeaux to stalk Seymour. For us, it sounds Simon Cowell is Janice’s admirer.

I’ve had a look on Facebook. There are currently four users with those first and last names, one of whom is white. I discounted her, ‘cos my gut feeling is that the Janice involved in the Terri Seymour incident is black.
So I’ve friend-added the three suspects, two of whom are black, the other lacking a profile pic, simply asking each of them if she is the anony-famous culprit!
