Amanda Jo Stott-Smith (pictured), a mom from Portland, Oregon, was arrested over allegedly drowning her own children on May 23, 2009. Amanda Stott-Smith faces charges of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder.

Amanda Jo Stott-Smith, 31, may have pushed her son and daughter off the Sellwood Bridge in Portland or placed them on a spot where the children fell Saturday morning.

Amanda’s son Eldon Jay Rebhan Smith, 4, was drowned while her daughter, 7, survived. Before the little girl was rescued and rushed to a hospital, she was in the chilling water of Willamette River at least 30 minutes.
