Jonathan Richard Hock (Picture): John Hock Arrested Over Raping Girlfriend Live On The Internet

Jonathan Richard Hock (pictured here), from Phoenix, Arizona, was arrested over allegedly raping his girlfriend and live streamed the sexual assault on the internet in February.
Jonathan Hock, 20, and his girlfriend, unnamed, got boozed at a party on the night of February 25. Hours into her deep sleep at about 5am on February 26, Jonathan Hock slipped into the unconscious woman’s bedroom and raped her.
Jonathan set up a notebook computer with a built-in camera and live broadcast the raping on a site he usually chat online for half an hour. Hock even bragged before the cam that his girlfriend “would never know what was happening to her because she was ‘passed out.’” He was wrong!
After viewing the live streaming video, viewers from as far as in Lafayette, Louisiana alerted the Arizona Department of Public Safety. As the police had few clues then, they couldn’t pinpoint Jonathan Hock.

Later, the victim was told by her friends who saw her unconsciousness pictures on other Web sites. She lodged the police report.
Johnathon Richard Hock surrendered himself to the police on Monday. He was taken into custody without bail, facing charges of kidnapping, sexual assualt and surreptitious photographing.

Rape is rape. It is always serious. The fact that he did this to his girlfriend is even worse. JUST THINK WHAT HE’D DO TO A TOTAL STRANGER! I’m speechless at how rape victims are disregarded if they are attacked by someone they are familiar with. The attack itself is the unfamiliar part and this person becomes just as much a stranger as any unknown predator. If you’ve only imagined being raped then you have no right to decide the severity level of a true victim’s attack.
