Actor Colin Hanks got engaged to marry girlfriend Samantha Bryant, but it was unknown if a wedding date had been set. The engagement of Colin Hanks and Samantha Bryant did not become public until New York Post’s recent report said that Bryant received a pricey handbag as a gift from her mother-in-law.

Colin Hanks, 31, is the son of Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks and his first wife, late actress Samantha Lewes, who died of bone cancer in 2002. Colin’ stepmother or father Tom’s second wife is actress Rita Wilson. Yeah, this Rita Wilson reportedly gave daughter-in-law Bryant an expensive handbag.
“Rita gave Samantha a $10,000 handbag to congratulate them.” A source told to Page Six.

The info regarding to Samantha Bryant is scarce, she is known to be a the Manhattan-based publicist. No words on when Samantha and Colin Hanks began dating. Hanks previously dated Rachael Leigh Cook and Busy Philipps between 1998 and 2002.
