Actress Farrah Fawcett’s funeral has been arranged, according to reports. A private funeral will be held at the Catholic cathedral of Los Angeles June 30, 2009.
The service, which is open to the invited mourners only, will take place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels at 4 p.m. Pacific Coast Time, (1900 Eastern Time), Tuesday. It is reported Fawcett’s longtime partner Ryan O’Neal is handling arrangements. The couple’s troubled son Redmond O’Neal, who was jailed over drug possession since April, was granted permission by prison officials to attend her funeral.
Farrah Fawcett, who was best known for her role in Charlie’s Angels, died of anal cancer on June 25. She was 62 years old.
