Singer/actress Christina Milian and boyfriend, singer/producer The-Dream, aka Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash, are getting married! Christina Milian, born Christine Flores, and The-Dream were engaged after months of dating. The rumor that Christina-The-Dream engagement had been buzzing since May.
The So Amazin’ star confirmed her engagement to Us Weekly when attending Big Billy Clark’s Annual Debauchery Birthday Pool Party at a private residence on Saturday (July 18) 2009 in Los Angeles. Milian did not reveal when The-Dream dropped down on his knee to pop the question.
She was presented with a six-carat engagement ring from Ivanka Trump’s jewelry line. The wedding date was yet to set.
“We don’t have plans yet — but it hasn’t happened, that I can confirm,” Milian told to Us. “We just want to have our closest friends and family there; it’s not going to be too big.”
The pair is already thinking about kids. “I love kids, and [Christina] loves kids probably more than I do,” The-Dream was quoted by the mag.
In 2005, Christina Milian ended a relationship with rapper and America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon, who later married with Mariah Carey. Milian went on to date producer Andre Lyon before she finally hooked up with The-Dream in March, 2009.
This will be the first marriage for Milian while the second for The-Dream. The-Dream previously married singer Nivea Hamilton (or simply as Nivea) with whom he had a daughter and a pair of twin sons. The couple divorced in 2007. It was rumored Nivea currently is pregnant with Lil Wayne’s son.
