Youtube user Pereljon filmed and uploaded onto the video portal:
Oct 7, 2009 10am, Chinatown San Francisco. This fight occurred on the Muni Stockton route (the 9 i think) just before the stockton tunnel. As you can see, a simple argument about seat-hogging quickly turned into a full blown brawl. It’s pretty clear who threw the first punch, you can see the bus’ serial number, and the exact time in the video.
By the way, this is the same bus where I was attacked 3 weeks ago, so I thought documenting the event was the most important thing I could do. This fight was NOT reported by the driver OR by the MUNI person who happened to be at the final stop (Stockton and Sutter). I’ll be walking to work for a while.
According to those who can understand the Cantonese the angry Chinese woman spoke, the black lady was hogging a seat, the mid-aged politely asked the young if she could take the seat, the young lady didn’t make the offer and instead yelled at her. The result, as you watched from the video above, the auntie stood up and the incident developed into a brawl, seemly with the Chinese auntie becoming the winner in the end.
This video has become viral since it was uploaded to the internet on October 7, and is now re-posted to the Chinese bulletin where said the auntie was a diaspora of Taishan [a city in Guangdong Province). With some visitors posted the racism-charged comments on Youtube, the video may be deleted in future.
