As shown in the pictures here, Cheng Jin, a 7-year-old Chinese girl, is suffering from the cutaneous fusariosis on her face and other body parts.
Little Cheng Jin, is born in a peasant family at Fengzhang Village of Lintong District of Sha’anxi Province’s Xi’an City (where boasts the famous Terracotta Warriors).
Cheng Jin contracted this disease since 2. In the past 6 years, she was brought to see dermatologists in various hospitals across Sha’an Xi but no therapies could cure her. The family spent more than 111,000RMB in the 2nd Hospital Affiliated With Xi’an Jiaotong University and became extremely impoverished. What’s the worse, the fusarium bacteria spread from her face to other places like her limbs. The ever expanding ulcerous fusariosis on her face poses the very serious dangers on eyes.
This August, the parents of the poor girl brought her to Beijing to seek the treatment after she finished the 1st Grade. The doctors at China PLA Airforce General Hospital suggested her to see Dr. Li Ruoyu, who is a skin disease expert from the Dermatological Department of Beijing University Hospital.
Because of money-stripped, Cheng Jin and her mom often begged in Beijing’s Streets and sporadically was treated in the hospital. Cheng’s case had since grabbed the attention of the charities and Beijing Times had run a report along with some graphic materials.
Online BBS and forums also picked up Cheng Jin’s story and many netizens began to make donations to the special accounts set at the charity organizations like Children’s Hope and Angel Mom. I first spotted Cheng Jin’s misery the website of Overseas Save Chinese Children Foundation at OSCCF.org , and through their donation page, a small amount of US dollars was made via Paypal.
I appeal here that any of you guys with a kind heart can donate, even if only a few dollars, to this little girl. Thanks!!!
We wish Cheng Jin, can be one day, like Chen Hang, to live carefree!
