Julien Hug, a former The Bachelorette contestant, has died. Jelien Hug was found dead off a highway in South California yesterday (November 3), People reported.
Hug, 35, a San Diego native, contested on the season 5 of ABC’s hit dating reality TV which featured Jilian Harris (picture below). On the show, the hunk said he felt like he had a connection with Harris. He believed it would be great if “Jillian and Julien together forever,” but was eliminated only at the 2nd week of that season.

Back from the Bacheorette, Julien Hug returned to help run his family restaurant business at Palm Desert. Sadly, he went missing on Monday (Nov. 1) and days later his body was tragically found on the highway. The death cause is pending for the autopsy report.
“I am completely heartbroken for the Hug family, and my whole heart goes out to them today as they mourn a precious life that ended far too soon,” Jillian Harris said in a statement. “It’s very difficult to find the words to express my condolences, but I will always remember Julien’s gentle demeanor and kind heart, which will be sadly missed.”
“Please say a prayer for the loss of a friend this morning. Life is fragile, don’t forget to love the ones you love.” Ms. Harris went on to write on her twitter account.
