Osama bin Laden, US’s most wanted terrorist, was finally killed by the American military operation, according to reports.
Most of US mainstream TV/cable networks disrupted the normal programs to announce bin Laden’s demise Sunday night.
An unnamed senior US official told CNN that bin Laden was killed by U.S. forces in a mansion outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad along with other family members.

Per President Obama, Osama bin Laden was killed by the American force in a compound he stayed in Abbottabad, Pakistan earlier today May 1, 2011.
“Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound, in Abbottabad, Pakistan. A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a firefight, they killed Osama Bin Laden and took custody of his body.”
