The same-sex marriages of celebrity gay couples like George Takei and partner Brad Altman who married in September (pictured above), are now at perils, because People is reporting that Attorney Mathew D. Staver – who has argued before the California Supreme Court against same-sex marriage – told the magazine he was confident California’s 18,000-plus gay marriages would be annulled.

According to Perez Hilton, the majority of Latinos and Blacks voted in favor of Proposition 8,  an initiative Constitutional Amendment to ban same-sex marriage in California. Hilton who himself is a gay was very disappointed over the results.
