Yu Sheng (余声), who is from Anhui Province, won the title of Miss World China 2009 on October 6, with Zhan Yang and Yu Weiwei becoming the second and third runner-up respectively. The reigning Miss World Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia crowned Miss Yu Sheng in the Chinese bustling city Shenzhen, Guangdong yesterday. Yu Sheng will represent China to compete at the 59th Miss World beauty pageants to be held on December 12, 2009 at the Sandton Convention Center, Johannesburg, South Africa. Roman Polanski was arrested! The 76-year-old acclaimed but controversial French-Polish director was arrested September 26 by the Swiss police when he was entering the country to attend the Zurich Film Festival for accepting a lifetime achievement award. Roman Polanski was convicted for raping a 13-year-old girl in 1977 in USA but he managed to flee to France (and since remained at large) before he got sentenced. A bit details from Wikipedia on Polanski’s statuary rape case:
In 1977, he was arrested in Los Angeles and pleaded guilty to “unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor”, a 13-year-old girl. Polanski was 44 years old at the time of the crime. Released after a 42-day psychiatric evaluation, Polanski fled to France. For decades, he was considered by U.S. authorities to be a fugitive from justice. Polanski for many years avoided visits to countries that were likely to extradite him, such as the United Kingdom. However, on September 26, 2009, he was arrested by Swiss police on arrival at Zürich Airport while trying to enter Switzerland to attend the Zurich Film Festival, at the request of United States authorities. Prior to his arrest, he travelled mostly between France, where he resides, and Poland. As a French citizen, he was protected by France’s limited extradition with the United States.
TMZ said there was no date yet set as to when or if he will be extradited back to the U.S..

E! reality tv Kendra star Kendra Wilkinson proudly revealed her bare belly baby bump to the world. The 24-year-old pregger posted several behind-scene pictures out of a photoshoot for a magazine on her blog kendrawilkinson.celebuzz.com.
” Being pregnant has been such an amazing and exciting experience for both of us and we wanted to have these photos as a reminder of this incredible time in our lives 
” wrote Kendra Wilkinson, who couldn’t hide her joy of bearing her unborn son with husband Hank Baskett.
Wilkinson announced that she and Baskett are expecting their first child together June 10, seventeen days before the couple married in Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. The baby who is due December 25, is to be named Hank Baskett IV after his father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. Kendra’s former boyfriend Hugh Hefner will be the godfather of the baby-on-the-way.

Sir Paul McCartney and girlfriend Nancy Shevell put on a rare show of public affection in New York City on the night of August 26. Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell were photographed kissing and having fun in the front row as they watched New York Yankees beat the Texas Rangers 9-2 at Yankee Stadium. Joining the McCartney-Shevell company which witnessed Yankees’ big victory were producer Lorne Michaels and actor Jack Nicholson.
