Beyonce’s parents Tina, Matthew Knowles Are Divorcing
Here is what the world knows about the story. Beyonce’s papa Matthew Knowles was hit by a paternity suit in October when Los Angeles woman Alexsandra Wright accused him of fathering her unborn child. At the time she was six months pregnant.
Following this incident, something must have happened to the Knowles family or at least between Tina Knowles and husband Matthew, but the world didn’t know, probably because no tatty people came forward to spill the beans. It was known onlywhen the eagle-sighted gossiposphere in December spotted the divorce case of Tina who filed the papers at the website of Harris County District Clark Court one month earlier in November.
The major reason, though Tina said she and Matthew “ceased to live together as husband and wife on or about January 5, 2009,” his paternity suit with Alexsandra Wright must be another blower of their marriage of >30 years.
After the divorcing case became public, they issued a statement. It read,
“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”
It sounded good. It could mean no more Hulk Logan Linda Logan kind divorcing impasse sprouting out.
Celestine Ann “Tina” Knowles married to Matthew Knowles since 1980. Together, they have two daughters, R&B singers Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, who are managed by Matthew.
