Vice President Dick Cheney had reportedly pulled a muscle in his back when packing boxes at his White House Office. The 67-year-old will be in a wheelchair to attended President-elect Barack Obama’s Oath of Office swearing-in ceremony in Capital Hill today January 20, 2009.
“Vice President Cheney pulled a muscle in his back today while moving boxes into his new house. Under his physician’s recommendation, the vice president will be in a wheelchair for the next couple of days, including for tomorrow’s inauguration.” White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said yesterday according to AFP.
