Breaking news! Casey Aldridge, Britney Spear’s brother-in-law, was hospitalized at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Mississippi after a car accident last night, TMZ.com is reporting. Aldridge’s life might not be threatened as he reportedly is already in stable condition. TMZ said Casey Aldridge, who fathered Jamie Lynn Spears’ toddler daughter Maddie Briann, is initially taken to the emergency room, but has just been moved to another part of the hospital.

RadarOnline.com has confirmed that Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn-Spears’ 8-month-old daughter, is in a Jackson, Mississippi hospital after a bad car wreck last night. Jamie Lynn is at his side, a source tells us.
Aldridge was driving home at 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he wrecked his Ford F150 with two male pals in the car, one of whom broke his collar bone. The source adds that Casey has a hematoma and doctors fear he has a blood clot in his brain. He may be heading into surgery, a source tells RadarOnline.com.
Update: An emergent surgical procedure was already done to drain fluid from Casey Aldridge’s brain. But the fiance of Jamie Lynn Spears was charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle in the single car crash that led him to be hospitalized. TMZ said Casey Aldridge was then driving on the LA 606 in the Tensas Parish in Louisiana. Law enforcement sources told the website Casey was initially taken to the Riverland Medical Facility in Ferriday, LA where is right across the border from Mississippi, but later transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Casey Aldridge, the boyfriend of Jamie Lynn Spears and father to her 10-month-old baby, was released from a Mississippi hospital on Friday, five days after flipping over in his pickup truck while partying with friends at a late-night bachelor party, a family source tells PEOPLE.
“Casey got home today, and he’s doing really well,” the source says. “He’ll have to have some rest for the next few weeks. He’s still got a headache, but everything looks good.”
Aldridge, 20, suffered a head injury that required no surgery and apparently caused no permanent damage, the source says. [People]
