R&B singer Kelis is divorcing her husband, rapper Nas. Kelis, aka Kelis Rogers-Jones, filed the divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court on April 30, citing irreconcilable differences, Vibe.com reported. Kelis, who is 7 months pregnant with Nas’s son, is represented by celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser who previously also represented Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, and Stevie Wonder. According to TMZ, Kelis is asking for spousal support and child support. She is also seeking for joint legal and physical custody of their unborn child.

Milkshake star Kelis, 29, and Nas, full name Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, 36, married in a small ceremony in Atlanta after a two-year relationship in 2005. They first met in 2002 at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs. The hip-hop couple’s four-year-marriage was rumored to come an end days ago, with Rapradar.com saying “Kelis is fed up Na’s verbally abusive and cheating ways.”

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband of nearly 12 years, Matthew Broderick are in the process of getting a divorce.

Both have denied a divorce is in the works, and it seems their people are doing a good job of keeping quiet about it. But you heard it first here. They’re officially dunzo.

Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, married in 1997, they have a son James Broderick, 7. Tabloids believed the marriage of Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick were problematic since Broderick was caught having affairs with a 20 something woman in 2008.

Actress Mary Marg Helgenberger is divorcing husband Alan Rosenberg, actor and President of Screen Actors Guild (SAG). Marg Helgenberger, who plays Catherine Willows on CBS’s drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, filed divorce documents on March 24 in Los Angles County Superior Court. Helgenberger cited irreconcilable differences with him. She is asking for spousal support, and looking to split attorney fees, according to TMZ. (more…)

Marie Douglas-David, 36, is the soon-to-be ex-wife of George David, billionaire and former CEO of United Technologies. Marie Douglas is now divorcing a 67-year-old George, husband of six years. A post-nuptial agreement in 2005 stipulates Marie Douglas-David can receive $43 million from George David when the pair divorces. But Marie Douglas said that amount of money was not enough to maintain her $53,000-per-week living expenses. Once an out-of-court settlement couldn’t reached, Douglas filed the papers to the Hartford Family Court in Connecticut to ask more out of George’s estimated $329 million wealth. Will she succeed?
