Cheesus: Cheeto Jesus! Dan and Sarah Bell, of Preston Hollow, Dallas bought a bag of Cheetos brand cheese snacks when they went to pump their car at a gas station during a road trip from Houston to Dallas last week. Mrs. Sarah found a Jesus-shaped Cheeto when she nearly finished her cheese-flavored snacks. Mr. and Mrs. Bell nicknamed it as Cheesus.
A Preston Hollow couple driving home from Houston was snacking on a bag of Cheetos when Sara Bell had a religious experience.
Or more exactly – a Cheeto in the shape of what appears to be a two-inch tall figurine with extended arms.
Bell had bought a bag of Cheetos in Jersey Village, about 20 miles northwest of Houston, and was eating the cheese-flavored snack when she made the discovery.
“I had eaten most of the ones in my hand and one was left lying there, and I said ‘Oh my gosh! Look at this! It really looks like a person in a robe praying,’” she told KTVT-TV. Her husband Dan looked over and said “‘Wow! It does look like a praying Jesus.’”
The couple nicknamed the orange puffed snack, “Cheesus.” [Dallas Morning News]
Bells said Cheesus may be auctioned on eBay or simply it would be eaten.
