Lewis Hamilton £100million Sportsman After Winning F1 Champion 2008! Lewis Hamilton’s dramatic No. 5 ranking on November 2’s Interlagos Circuit won him the 2008 Formula One Championship.
Hamilton almost repeated the failure in 2007 that ruined his chance becoming the world’s first ever rookie driver who won a F1 title, if not his bravery overtake against Toyota’s Timo Glock on the last bend of Brazil Grand Prix.
But there was no if, Hamilton just finished the 5th in the race, a result comfortably crowned him over Felipe Masa as F1 Champion 2008. Much more than that, Lewis Hamilton, three months shy of 23 years old, has made the history, becoming the youngest driver as a Formula One Champion and the second driver who could win such a title only during his second F1 season.
Dailymail is reporting that Hamilton’s historical win can make him the world’s highest-paid sportsman with an annual salary up to at least £100 Million.
Lewis Hamilton will become the world’s highest-paid sportsman after becoming the youngest driver to win the Formula One world championship last night.
The 23-year-old Briton, his proud father Anthony Hamilton by his side today, can expect to earn a minimum £100million a year following one of the most exciting finales to a race the sport has ever witnessed.
This far eclipses the £31million that David Beckham earned last year and even surpasses the £72million earned this year by Tiger Woods.
