Hard-luck actor Willie Aames held a garage sale at his home in Olathe, Kansas City March 26, 2009. Aames filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and had his house foreclosured. The money-drained former teen star for Charles in Charge and Eight Is Enough had sold off his belongings including leather couch, big TV set, antiques, artwork, a piano, a mounted lion’s head and other stuffed wildlife he had hunted, and movie posters. It’s not known how much money he made from the garage sale, but we were convinced Willie Aames wouldn’t get too much. According to Kansas City Star, Aames sold three crystal decanters which were bought at $500 from Europe for only $5 each and a two-century-old $2,000 worth giant chopper with the meat butchering ship for $200 amng others. The event was filmed on a TV documentary featuring his life, hard times and how he gets through them. We do hope that TV documentary can bring him much more extra money.
