Aceshowbiz reported June 11 that rapper Kanye West and model girlfriend Amber Rose had broken up. At the time, Kanye’s rep was quoted by the website, “they are no longer a couple.”

Either Kanye West and Amber Rose already reunited or the earlier report was inaccurate, the couple attended Sunday’s 2009 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Kris Allen sang Apologize by OneRepublic and Heartless by Kanye West on May 12’s American Idol 8 . Kris Allen’s Apologize performance was very mediocre, but his Heartless performance catapulted him to be the star of the night. Simon Cowell said he had literally written Allen out of AI’s competition but changed his mind after his Heartless rendition. Before this, Randy Jackson said Kris Allen had sung better than Kanye West.

The currently most talked singing sensation Britain’s Susan Boyle got a South Park treatment. In an episode spoofing the Somalian pirate story aired on Wednesday night, Susan Boyle was name-checked on the Comedy Central’s cult cartoon series though not totally mocked like Kanye West who was recently parodied as I’m A Gay Fish. In a letter to their parents, Kyle’s little brother Ike said he wanted to run away from joining the Somalian pirates for he’s so sick of hearing about Susan Boyle! (more…)

Self-proclaimed “most intelligent rapper in the world” Kayne West was screwed up on April 8’s South Park Fishsticks episode. The cartoon character of Kayne West defended he is “a genius” and not “a gay”.
