Peter Sarsgaard Maggie Gyllenhaal Married in Rome

Actors Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal officially married as wife and husband over the past weekend Saturday in Italy.
“We are happy to confirm that Maggie and Peter were married on Saturday, May 2,” their rep said in a statement without giving the wedding details.
Peter Sarsgaard, 38, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, 31, walked down the aisle in an intimate wedding ceremony held at a small chapel at the hotel Masseria in Brindisi, Rome.
Among about 40 guests included Maggie’s younger brother Jake Gyllenhaal and her girlfriend Reese Witherspoon.
Peter Sarsgaard who previously dated burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese and model/actress Shalom Harlow has been in a relationship with Maggie Gyllenhaal, and is a close friend of her brother Jake, since 2002.
In April 2006, Sarsgaard and Maggie announced their engagement. They have a daughter Ramona, born October, 2006, and live in Brooklyn, New York. (more…)
