Sarah Palin, the Republican VP hopeful on November 4’s General Election, was pranked by a call made from Marc-Antoine Audette, who posed as French President Nicolas Sarkozy, on November 1, 2008. Marc-Antoine Audetter, together with Sebastien Trudel, is the host of CK radio station in Canada’s Montreal. The duo known as the Masked Avengers, are notorious for prank calls to celebrities and heads of state. Audetter spoke in an exaggerated French accent and dropped ample hints that the conversation is a joke on Saturday. But Palin did not pick up on them and vividly talked about her dreams of being President in eight years and meeting up with Sarkozy’s wife Carla Bruni among other things. (more…)
