Pop diva Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon welcomed their girl and boy twins to the world on April 30th.

Not until today, the 42-year-old singer revealed the names of the 5-day-old toddlers.

The newly-borns are named Monroe & Moroccan Scott, Mariah announced on Twitter.

It’s official, pop diva Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are now proud parents of a pair of boy and girl twins!

Mariah has given birth to her first children with Cannon Saturday morning at an unknown hospital. She just made the announcement of the arrival of her dembabies one hour ago on Twitter:

Singer Mariah Carey had a pregnancy scare on her 41 year old birthday today after false contractions overnight.

Mariah born in 1970, who is pregnant with husband Nick Cannon’s twins, felt contractions last night and was rushed to the hospital, but it turned out Carey-Cannon twins have to wait for several more weeks to arrive.

Now she is back at home and ready to share the experience with the world on her Twitter account.

“So #dembabies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital,” tweeted the pop diva.

“Finally they said I could come home after they got it under control but..They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: ) #soreadyallready!” She added.
