Jayson WIlliams, the troubled ex New Jersey Nets star, was arrested over assaults on a man outside a nightclub in Raleigh, North Carolina in the early hours of this morning. Williams allegedly punched the dude in the face around 2am after an argument was erupted. He was charged with one count of simple assault and released on $1,000 bond. Source

Lebron James Buzzer Beater Video, a must watch for any NBA fans. At the last second during the Game 2 of Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference Final series on May 22, LeBron James’s three-point buzzer-beating shot secured Cavaliers to have a magic 96-95 win over Magic.
The Cleveland Cavaliers needed a miracle. LeBron James delivered.
James made a fadeaway three-pointer over Orlando’s Hedo Turkoglu as the final horn sounded Friday night to give the Cavaliers a 96-95 victory over the Orlando Magic that evened the Eastern Conference finals at one win apiece.
From 23 feet, James made a shot unlike any before in Cleveland history. Taking the inbound pass from Mo Williams, James only had time to turn toward the rim and fire. As the shot dropped in, James sprinted into the arms of his teammates.
Amazing!

Jayson Williams, the troubled ex New York Nets’ star, was tasered and then transferred to a hospital for the psychiatric evaluation after he appeared “suicidal” and “violent” at a Manhattan hotel earlier this morning. (more…)

Allonzo Trier, 13, is a basketball boy from Federal Way, Seattle. Allonzo Trier is living with his single mom Marcie, a social worker with limited income, in federally subsidized housing. But such harshness did not prevent Allonzo Trier from becoming nationally ranked #1 in his age division. New York Times has attributed ten webpages to run a story on the sixth grader. The young basketball phenom who stand 5 feet 5 inches and weighs 110 pound was recently paid to film together with NBA team Denver Nuggets’s forward Carmelo Anthony for a commercial of ION4 drink of Powerade, the arch rival of Gatorade.
