Adam Lambert is “Feeling Good” on April 28’s American Idol 8 Top 5 performance! Adam Lambert performed “Feeling Good” on this evening’s Rat Pack night mentored by Jamie Foxx.
Feeling Good is a song originally sung by Sammy Davis Jr.. It has been covered by many other artists including Nina Simone, Muse, Michael Bublé, The Pussycat Dolls, My Brightest Diamond, George Michael and Joe Bonamassa.
Adam Lambert picked Muse’s version of Feeling Good. Apparently, again he did a wonderful job, winning the praise from all four judges.
Randy Jackson believed Adam Lambert’s performance was too threatical but he was in the zone. Kara DioGuardi found Lambert “shocking in a good, confusing and shocking and sleazy and superb and way over the top.” Simon Cowell said “Best entrance we’ve had all year.” For Paula Abdul? She felt like she’s watching the Olympics. “You make me feel better than good. You’re our Michael Phelps.” she said.
