Meet Jasmin Villegas, the American teen R&B singer and actress of Filipino and Mexican origin. Jasmin Villegas, whose voice can be compared to singers like Alicia Keys and Whitney Houston, has eight released singles on her official Myspace site as of May 2009. She’s a Damon Dash Artist under Mosci Music Management.
Jasmin Villegas, aged 15, is hailed from San Jose but now based in Los Angeles. She became one of the most searched celebrity on Google the day after she sang the national anthem Star-Spangled Banner before the much hyped boxing match between Filipino boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and his British counterpart Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton in MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, May 2.
