Travis Barker Plane Crash Injured: Travis Barker Survived Fatal Learjet Crash in Columbia, South Carolina!

The former drummer of band Blink 182 was in critical condition after the private jet he took plunged to the ground when departing from a South Carolina airport in the early hours of Saturday, September 20. The accident left another injuried and killed four. Travis Barker is now treated at a burn center in Augusta, Georgia.
According to the reports, Barker had performed Friday night at an event alongside Perry Farrell, the former Jane’s Addiction singer, as well as Gavin DeGraw and DJ AM.
Hospital officials confirmed that DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Michael Goldstein, had also been admitted to the burn unit in critical condition. It was unknown whether Farrell and DeGraw were also traveling with Barker.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday from Columbia when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. She said the plane went off the runway and crashed on a nearby road.
Bergen said the Lear 60 was headed to Van Nuys, California. She was unable to confirm the names of who was on board.

Update 1: Perry Farrell is safe as he was not on the doomed jet.
Update 2: Three of four victims were identified, they were Travis Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker, 29, and the pilot Sarah Lemmon and co-pilot James Bland.
Update 3: Travis Barker and DJ AM saved their own lives after their plane crashed by jumping out the door of the burning plane.
Update 4: A fourth victim was identified as Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles. Travis Barker and DJ AM fortunately got some help from Mr. William Owens who was then driving down Highway 302 before they were rushed to the hospital.
Update 5: TMZ reported Travis Barker has been burned from the waist down while DJ AM’s face was severely burned.
Update 6: With Travis Barker and DJ AM expected to make full recoveries, the cause of their plane crash tragedy might arise from a blew tyre. From BBC:

A safety official said that a cockpit voice recording suggested the crew tried unsuccessfully to abort take-off after hearing a probable blowout.
