People attending Thursday’s Christmas Eve Mass by Pope Benedict XVI, picture left, had a terrific moment when a woman rushed to the Pontiff as he walked down the main aisle to begin the service last night in St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City. The woman was said to be mentally unstable. At the time the incident happened, the woman in red dress jumped over the wooden barriers and knocked down the Pontiff and Cardinal Roger Etchegaray as well before being controlled by the bodyguards. Her antics caused no injuries to Pope, who later continued the Mass and made no reference to the commotion. Glad His Holiness is all right! (more…)

Ruhama Buni Canellis (pictured), 35, is the wife of Father Alberto Cutie. Guatemala-born Ruhama Buni Canellis and Father Alberto Cutie married in Coral Gables, Florida Tuesday, June 16. A judge presided the wedding ceremony of Ruhama B. Canellis tieing the knot with Cutie. Congrats!
Father Alberto Cutie, 40, is a former priest of Catholic Church who broke his vow of celibacy. He joined the Episcopal Church to be with Ruhama B. Canellis on May 28, 2009 at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Miami, Florida. He gave his first service at Episcopal Church of the Resurrection on May 31.
Father Cutie, a Puerto Rico native, caused a worldwide controversy after being photographed fondling a bikini-clad woman on the beach. The photo of Father Cutie embracing the bathing-suit-clad woman was published in the May issue of TV Notas magazine.
